The National e-GP portal (i.e http:///eprocure.gov.bd) of Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was developed and implemented and launched in July 2011 and being operated by the Central Procurement Technical Unit (CPTU), IME Division of Ministry of Planning. Dohatec New Media as Nominated Sub-consultant of the Government have been engaged in its Operation and maintenance as well. The system provides an online platform to carry out the procurement activities by the Procuring Entities (PEs). The e-GP system has been designed, developed, tested, installed and commissioned in two phases i.e. e-Tendering and e-Contract Management System (e-CMS).
