The National electronic-Project Management Information System (e-PMIS) portal (http://epmis.gov.bd) of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh was developed, implemented, and launched in December 2022. It is operated by the Bangladesh Public Procurement Authority (BPPA) within the IME Division of the Ministry of Planning. Dohatec New Media, as the lead partner, has been engaged in its operation and maintenance.

The project assignment aimed to enhance the capability, effectiveness, and efficiency of monitoring and evaluating ADP projects. This was achieved by digitizing the activities of IMED and project offices and integrating their applications and data with the e-GP system, iBAS++, and other related electronic sources. The initiative will strengthen their resources, providing the necessary skills and tools for effective project monitoring and evaluation. This includes guidelines, data analytics, custom reporting, and dashboards for informed decision-making. To incorporate feedback from all stakeholders, the e-PMIS system was developed and made publicly accessible online.

There will be following broad areas of activities:

• Enhancement to the Existing Modules and Functions as per agreed business process
• New Modules, Functions and process Development
• Ensure deployment of Micro-Services following industry standard practice using Docker kubernetes
• Rollout of the e-PMIS to ensure a 100% coverage of ADP projects
• Installation/ Hosting/ Maintenance of the System in the primary and mirror data center servers/solutions following a Service Level Agreement (SLA) (Annex-2) and standard operating procedure (SOP) as updated regularly
• Operating & managing call center functions of e-PMIS 12/7 Helpdesk/Call center at Central Level
• Ensure security of the system in its full development life cycle and maintenance period
• Other Implementation Tasks including capacity building of the BPPA/ IMED Technical team and other key agencies in order to sustain and improve the development and implementation of the e-PMIS system effectively
